welcome to my blog

Hi this is my blog. It is supposed to be for my photographs, but how do you put photographs on it? I am an idiot on computers. so imagine beautiful photos of calm mountain lakes. Of snow covered hills. Of flowers bursting with colour. close your eyes and see in your mind a huge green cicada poised to jump off a leaf. If I could put my photos on here that is what you would see!

Well here I am in sunny California, staying in a fantastic apartment overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and looking out to Cataline Island. Now the photos I've taken here would take your breath away, just imagine the sun low in the sky, casting flickering lights over the ocean, white waves rushing in to the shore, and tiny birds running so fast out of the surf, you can hardly see their feet. Then turn around and look up the cliffs to palm trees and a big silver moon hovering just above the palms. That is what you would see if I could manage to post my photos on this web site. Never mind, my intelligent friend Clare has offered to help me, so very soon you may be able to view these pictures.
